BRIDGING THE GAP is a program designed to help people just being discharged from a treatment or correctional facility avoid falling between the cracks before connecting with AA. A temporary contact volunteer (matched by gender and geography) is assigned to go to some AA meetings with any such patient or inmate wanting help.
If you are in a TREATMENT FACILITY and want such help, please click on the contact link above to send an email which needs to include the facility you are in, your first name/last name initial, gender (M/F), release date and your post release zip code & phone number.
If you are in a CORRECTIONAL FACILITY and want such help, have either your facility counselor or an AA member taking meetings into your facility email via the contact link, giving your same personal information- your first name/last name initial, gender (M/F), release date and your post release zip code & phone number.
If you are an AA MEMBER WANTING TO VOLUNTEER to be a temporary contact for either former patients, inmates or both (specify), please email via the contact link giving your first name/last name initial, gender (M/F), phone #, zip code, and email address.
