February 20th, GSR's and DCM's ORIENTATION
Hi all,
At the August District Meeting the DCM's and GSR's; that attended, voted to have an all District Service gathering on October 24, 2009. The location will be at
CORNERSTONE FELLOWSHIP
2902 N. GERONIMO
TUCSON, AZ.
From 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
This will be a simple Brunch Potluck (11;00-11:45am), so please bring something.
The intent of this meeting is to bring a sense of Unity to all the Districts in the Pima County Area.
There are many ways to create this Feeling of Fellowship. One is to understand what our roll is in service; ie, Voting, conveying our Groups opinion at Panels, relaying information back to the groups from Area 03, discussing things like, "Is a Special Needs Committee needed in the Pima County District?", "Are we having too many Workshops?", and "What can we do to carry the message to the Newcomer better?" etc, etc.
If you are soon to rotate out of your service position Please bring someone who might be interested in filling your position.
We will have a mock election, so all who are unfamiliar with this process can experience and understand the importance of voting. Past Delegates will moderate the mock election.
We are Pleased to have ICYPAA and WACYPAA to join us in Hosting this event.
