Hello Area,

 

Highlights of my activity since the last MCSM

 

-         Attended the H & I meeting with Angela M on 3/2/10 and met with Louis A (H & I Chair) and Liz J (Area Corrections Cord) to discuss how the District could be of service to both.

-          On 3/5 – 3/7 I attended and participated at PRAASA in Los Angeles and the experience was very informative and rewarding.

-         On 3/17 the Area Convention meeting was held prior to the District DCM meeting and planning is moving forward…more will be revealed later this month.

-         The first Area Assembly was held on 3/19 – 3/21 in Sierra Vista…It was great to see many of you there participating in Area service for the first time. A quick tally showed that District 08 had 51 new GSR’s, all 10 DCM”s and all 3 inter-groups represented…Props to all of you

-         I met with Angela and Jessi to discuss both of their positions and to provide any suggestions and or encouragement as they move forward.

-         I also met with Tom C and we discussed some upcoming issues and set about lighting up the 2 dark districts 801 and 816.

-         The District committed to sell 250 Area meeting lists this quarter and Between Lois L and myself close to 200 have been sold….They will be available at tonight’s meeting.

-         On Sat 4/17 I facilitated a group inventory and that is always a rewarding experience.
